Make your own Gluten Free Pancakes!

Gluten Free Pancakes! It’s that time of year again where everyone across the UK stocks up on their favourite toppings and gets ready to start flipping pancakes!

But have you tried making Gluten FREE Pancakes?

As many have gone gluten-free it’s difficult to get gluten-free flour.

But here are some places where you can find it:

  • Tesco
  • Sainsbury’s
  • Asda
  • Morrisons
  • Holland & Barratts
  • Aldi
  • Lidl
  • Other local supermarkets

How should I make pancakes?

For fluffy American Style pancakes use

Self Raising Gluten free flour – 1 cup (Mug)

Sugar – (depends on how sweet you like them)

Eggs – 2

Milk – Enough to get the right consistency

To cook make sure you have a hot non-stick pan

Add the batter to the pan and let it cook

When you see bubbles forming, take off the heat and flip

Return to the heat and cook the other side until fluffy and golden.

Then add any topping that you like.

For Crepe style pancakes use:

Plain Gluten-free flour – 1 Cup (Mug)

Sugar – (depends on how sweet you like them)

Eggs – 2

Milk – Enough to get the right consistency

To cook make sure you have a hot non-stick pan

Add the batter to the pan and move the batter around so that it coats the pan evenly.

When you see bubbles forming, take off the heat and flip

Return to the heat and cook until golden

Then add any topping that you like.
